เรื่องย่อ : นั้นเล่าถึงเรื่องราวของ “อียอน” จิ้งจอกเก้าหางหรือกูมีโฮผู้อาศัยอยู่ในป่ามานานนับพันปี เขาตัดสินใจที่จะมาอาศัยอยู่ในเมืองเพื่อใช้ชีวิตอย่างสงบสุข แต่แล้วเขาก็ได้พบกับ “นัมจีอา” โปรดิวเซอร์รายการทีวีที่สนใจเรื่องตำนานพื้นบ้านและต้องการพิสูจน์ว่าอียอนเป็นกูมีโฮจริงหรือไม่ อียอนเป็นกูมีโฮที่ใจดีและปรารถนาที่จะปกป้องมนุษย์จากความชั่วร้าย เขาจึงร่วมมือกับนัมจีอาเพื่อตามล่ากูมีโฮที่ชั่วร้ายอย่างน้องชายของเขา “อีรัง” ซึ่งต้องการล้างแค้นมนุษย์ที่ทำร้ายเขาและครอบครัว
It tells the story of “Lee Yeon,” a nine-tailed fox or gumiho who has lived in the forest for thousands of years. He decided to come live in the city to live a peaceful life. But then he meets Nam Ji Ah, a TV producer who is interested in folklore and wants to prove whether Lee Yeon is really a gumiho or not. Lee Yeon is a kind-hearted gumiho who wishes to protect humans from evil. So he joins forces with Nam Ji Ah to hunt down the evil Gu Mi Ho, his younger brother “Lee Rang”, who wants revenge on the humans who harmed him and his family.
